ONE MORE TIME...
Yesterday was the memorial for our fallen friend DJ AM
The Palladium had a marquee that he would have been proud of:

No cameras or phones were allowed within the Memorial, but I will summarize basically what it was all about.
First off, i have to say that the memorial service was both beautiful and classy.
There were photos of our friend smiling and living his life to the fullest. If i could rename AM, it would have been the one that Homer Simpson tried to give himself...
MAX POWER. Adam absolutely lived life to the fullest.
From the testimony of all of his friends, family, fans, and colleagues, we got a sense of how much Adam Michael Goldstein was loved. He had THE BEST friends...if you were at the memorial, you honestly felt how loved Adam was by everyone he touched.
He had some uncanny gift to surround himself not only with good people, but THE VERY BEST PEOPLE.
Everytime someone came up to speak about Adam, they would always tell these great stories of the person that touched our lives...not just the DJ we heard week in and week out at the best parties in the world.
There was an EPIC video that Mike and Dan edited together from all of our footage of Adam...it was beautiful, funny, and serious. It was honestly amazing...I tip my hat to these amazing friends.
Anyhow, the final thing I will say before I start letting Adam rest in true peace is this:
HE WAS THE BEST JUDGE OF CHARACTER. He actually saw the good in you and helped those along the beaten path. He was the definition of a brother to all those that knew him. We would have done anything for Adam...but Adam would do anything for us...b/c he just sensed that good in you.
We will forever love you b/c you loved us so much.
May you rest in peace Brother...
Here's one final tribute from A-TRAK...scratching your favorite phrase...
"Aww Yeah!"
To Adam:
As you fly up to heaven...i'm going to say the same thing I said to you before you went on a plane...
"HAVE A SAFE FLIGHT"
