after the festival was over...

FYI...on Sunday, I was sorta stranded in Austin...
...all the homies I was staying with ended up flying home on Sunday...and my cheaper Southwest flight was scheduled to take-off on Monday morning...
so...what was I to do?
Well, when I first woke up...I called one of my homies who was still in Austin for the night...
...so i asked him if i could desperately crash on his hotel room floor...
...he talked it over with some hotshot photographer roommate, and the roommate dude straight up said..."NO".
...so in my head...i proceeded to think..."really? not even any floor love for a dude that's stranded in Austin? go fuck this dude and the horse he rode in on..."
...so then i started makin some calls...to see who else was down to hang with me...
and...lo and behold...i make a call to my boy Tommy B...and he helps me out in a BIG way...
basically...we ended up housesitting for some actress chick from that show FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS (which is filmed in Austin)...and we just chilled and watched HDTV while relaxing...
so...it all worked out better than ending up on some floor of some dude and pretending to feel grateful for having him let me hang with him. so much better.
Anyhow...after chillin at passing out on a very comfortable couch...
Tommy & I decided to pick up a homie and get some food.
Yeah, we got lost on the crazy-ass-Texas freeway.

Then...we ate with the local college kids @ Magnolia cafe...

Then...it was a wrap..til I left for home on...

When I woke up...the weather was gloomy in Austin...(the weather was awesome during the fest though!)

Then...once I got to the airport...I chilled with some nice ladies...talkin about the weather and how she used to live in So. Cal like 50 years ago...

after shootin the shit with this awesome lady and already landing at home...I realized that I had seen the lady before...she was on my flight from my connecting flight from Phoenix to Austin on Thursday...

...if anything goes wrong...this old lady will be my CONSTANT...
...then...i finally stepped on the plane...and set sail for Cali.
SXSW was a blast. but I LOVE LA.
